We started at abundant life following a negative experience at another daycare. It was night and day difference and we are so so happy we found the right fit for our daughter. The staff is simply incredible and consistent which was very important to me with our infant. I wanted her to recognize and form relationships with who she was with everyday. They have become a second family. Our daughter gets so excited to see everyone at drop off and is all smiles at pick up. I know she is so loved and well cared for. The communication throughout the day is so helpful and we just couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

We have 2 kids that attend the Abundant Life Christian School and they both absolutely love it! They both attended public schools previously. Compared to public schools, the aspects of ALCS we love the most are the smaller class sizes (student-teacher ratio), more intense academic rigor, closer family-like community, healthier hot lunches, faith-based, and more frequent and individualized communication by teachers and staff. The teachers are fantastic and go above and beyond for the students! Our kids have excelled in this nurturing environment! The only thing we feel the school could improve on is adding more after school activities / clubs. While there are boys and girls Middle School Basketball teams (which are a ton of fun), adding another club / activity or 2 would add to the excitement of what the school has to offer. Overall, if you are looking for an alternative school for your children to attend, it’s worth your time to look into ALCS! You won’t regret it!Posted on Google![]()

After a couple rough years in the public school system my husband and I were feeling defeated and worried for our son. He was regressing and losing his interest in learning. His behavior was not like before he started school. We knew we needed to make a change so we did. I cannot say enough good things about Abundant Life Christian School. Since changing schools in September we have watched the light return to his eyes. He is calmer and happier.. he is eager to be at school and with his friends. In a short time he has made so much progress academically, socially and spiritually. The teachers are a very special group of people, they truly care and support him. The entire staff has treated us like family, we feel partnered with the school and not fighting against them. Our thoughts and concerns have been heard and taken seriously from the very first day. My husband and I feel comforted knowing our son has teachers who are praying for him and encouraging him every single day. Our son finally feels heard and seen and he is responding to that in such a positive way. We are so blessed and grateful to have found this school and be able to be a part of it. It changed everything for us.Posted on Google![]()

Abundant Life Christian School has impacted my family for many years. My children attended the childcare center and were loved and cared for by the wonderful staff. When they became grade school age, they started attending the grade school and have been academically and spiritually challenged each day. They have wonderful teachers and have developed great friendships. We just love the school!Posted on Google![]()

We highly recommend Abundant Life Christian School, If you are looking for a school where your child will be truly loved and cared for, you know what they are being taught and they are learning about the Lord, then this is the place. This is our first year, and the academic progress our daughter has made is truly impressive. Beyond the classroom, the spiritual impact has been profound; she has developed a genuine hunger for her faith since the start of the school year. The faculty and administration are supportive and professional. We are so grateful we found ALCS, thanks you ALCS to your dedication to our children.Posted on Google![]()

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE ABUNDANT LIFE
Small Children Deserve Big Attention
Known and Loved
Children thrive when they feel secure and connected. Because of that, our teachers take time to understand each child's personality, interests, routines, comforts, strengths, and growing independence.
Faith Woven Into the Day
Christian values are expressed naturally rather than formally, through prayer, Bible stories, songs, gratitude, kindness, forgiveness, compassion, and the way our teachers care for children and one another.
Learning Through Play
Children are naturally curious. As a result, our teachers turn that curiosity into opportunities for language development, movement, creativity, problem-solving, early academics, social growth, and discovery.
Partners With Parents
You know your child better than anyone. Therefore, we work alongside you, sharing updates, photos, milestones, questions, and important moments throughout your child's experience with us.
Room to Move and Explore
Children enjoy active play indoors and outdoors, including classroom exploration, our gymnasium, playground spaces, seasonal activities, and, of course, plenty of opportunities to move.
A Community With Deep Roots
Abundant Life has served families in Wilmington and surrounding communities since 1982. Since then, generations of children have grown, learned, made friends, and been cared for here.

OUR APPROACH
Childhood Is Not Something to Rush
There is plenty of time for tests, deadlines, and pressure later.
Early childhood, on the other hand, should be filled with relationships, questions, movement, imagination, laughter, stories, music, art, discovery, and play.
At Abundant Life, therefore, teachers create experiences that help children develop across the whole child:
- Social and emotional development
- Language and communication
- Early literacy
- Early mathematics
- Cognitive development
- Fine motor skills
- Gross motor skills
- Creativity and imagination
- Independence and self-help skills
- Spiritual development
- Character and kindness
Children learn through a thoughtful balance of teacher-guided activities and child-led exploration; in addition, routines, conversation, active play, and meaningful relationships carry just as much weight as any lesson.

Faith
Faith That Feels Like Love
At Abundant Life, Christian faith is more than a lesson on the schedule.
Instead, children experience faith through the way they are welcomed, comforted, encouraged, corrected, forgiven, and loved.
Because faith belongs in ordinary moments, age-appropriate prayer, worship songs, Bible stories, and Christian teaching are woven naturally into childcare in Wilmington, MA rather than set apart from it.
As a result, we help children begin understanding simple but powerful truths:
- God made me.
- He loves me.
- I can love others.
- Kindness is something I choose.
- Thankfulness matters too.
- Helping others makes a difference.
Families from a variety of backgrounds are welcome at Abundant Life; in fact, church attendance is not required for enrollment.
FAMILY PARTNERSHIP
You Should Never Feel Disconnected From Your Child's Day
Leaving your child with someone else requires trust. That is why communication matters so much to us.Through daily conversations with teachers and our Procare parent communication platform, therefore, families stay connected to the important parts of their child’s day.
Depending on the classroom and your child’s age, for example, updates may include:
- Naps
- Diapering and toileting
- Activities
- Photos
- Classroom updates
- Developmental milestones
- Reminders
- Special moments from the day
Because childcare works best when parents and teachers work together.

TEACHERS

TEACHERS
The People Matter Most
A beautiful classroom matters, of course.
A strong curriculum matters too.
Safety matters enormously.
Even so, the person comforting your child when you walk out the door matters most of all.
That is why our teachers and caregivers are at the heart of Abundant Life Christian Childcare.
In practice, they create the relationships that help children feel secure enough to explore, brave enough to try, and comfortable enough to be themselves.
